Research Doctoral courses at the University of Torino are organized into Doctoral Schools with the aim to promote research and training activities at the 3rd level of study.
Doctoral Schools promote, organize and manage all the activities directed towards multidisciplinary projects. The aim of the School is to promote and to assist students in their projects, allowing them to reach their goals. Moreover the Doctoral School is involved in increasing the scientific competitiveness, supporting the University internationalization processes.
The Research Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences for Animal Health and Food Safety is the evolution of the Doctoral School in Veterinary Sciences and inherits its main research areas:
- health and welfare of farm and wild animals;
- health and welfare of pets, horses, and laboratory species;
- safety and quality of animal productions;
- basic and experimental veterinary sciences.
