After the PhD

The professional profile obtained at the end of the attendance of this PhD course will be oriented to research, experimentation and dissemination of innovative techniques in the veterinary science sector and animal science, but also to the training of highly qualified figures in the various fields of the Veterinary private job. The objective of the doctoral courses in Veterinary Sciences is therefore not limited to providing a title that can be used exclusively in the academic  area, but also in public and non-public research bodies and institutes, in line with the interest of private companies for many of the researches developed .

The examination of the data concerning our PhDs allows us to trace the map of the main professional outlets of the PhDs:

• fixed-term research work at the university or public laboratories,
• permanent research work at the university or public and private laboratories,
• freelance activity (Veterinary Medicine Graduates).
