Research topics
In the realm of animal microbiome sampling, characterization and storage, the exploration of microbial diversity within diverse host species is of paramount significance. My project will shed light on the intricate relationships between animals and the resident microbial communities that inhabit their various anatomical niches. By employing advanced molecular techniques and high throughput sequencing, we aim to unravel the complexities of these symbiotic partnerships. The data obtained will not only broaden our understanding of host-microbe interactions but also offer insights into the potential applications of these findings in agriculture, veterinary medicine, and even human health. This multidisciplinary approach is poised to revolutionize our understanding of the animal microbiome, thereby contributing to the advancement of both basic and applied science.
